The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. with Darrell-Lee McKenzie in the chair.

Minutes: Minutes from October 25, 2005 were amended (Signing Authority: spelling of Roberta Gourlie’s name) and accepted. m/s/c
Financial Statement: K. Megyesi reported that the new account was opened at Vernon and District Credit Union with an opening balance of $797.53. Current balance is $1047.53. m/s/c
Action: K. Megyesi to obtain Treasurer’s books from J. Harrison.
2006 Budget: Unsure if budget approved at last meeting was submitted.
Action: S. Yaciw to contact J. Harrison and determine if budget was submitted.
Raffle Money from Regional Women’s Conference: J. Leenhouts reported that the donation to NOW Canada had been made.
Participation of Retired Members: There was a discussion in regards to retired members participating in Area Council and Women’s Committee.
Action: S. Yaciw to send a letter to P. Ducharme to seek clarification on the issue.
Resolutions to PSAC Convention: S. Yaciw reported that the resolutions were submitted.
Member Appreciation Event: Event will be held in Kelowna in September. Discussion and planning were tabled until the next meeting.
PSAC Triennial Convention: Sending an alternate delegate was discussed, and past subsidies were reviewed. A subsidy of $400 will be provided to J. Leenhouts to attend convention. m/s/c
Funding for Political Activity in the Federal Election: A report was submitted by J. Harrison outlining the decision to decline the available funding.
