New Business | Financial Report – financial review of our books was completed by Brother John Rumsby who also provided some tips to assist in future reviews of the finances.Discussion took place on the varying amounts of dues paid by Locals and what time of the year they are paid.Without the treasurer present a number of questions were left unanswered.M/S/C Genereux/W. Little to table the financial statement until the treasurer is present.Non-Service Canada – Sister Schubert brought us up to date on the current campaign.Phase I (targetting NH&WU members) is complete.Phase II, the lobbying of MP’s, has begun.A lengthy discussion ensued on this subject.Election of VP – M/S/C W. Little/Gale to table this agenda item until the next meeting. | |

Guest Speaker | Heather Brooker – Sister Brooker is currently the National President for the National Component of the PSAC.She has put her name forward to run as the next PSAC National President at the Triennial Convention in May.Sister Brooker provided an opening statement and then fielded questions from the members present. | |
