Join other Asian Canadian union members at a meeting of the Asian Canadian Labour Alliance, before the film viewing.
The Asian Canadian Labour Alliance provides a forum for Asian Canadian union members to connect, encourages the increased participation of Asian Canadian union members in the labour movement, and works to strengthen the relationship between labour and our Asian Canadian communities. The War Between Us ~ a bittersweet drama about a Japanese-Canadian family and the internment of 23,000 West Coast Japanese Canadians during the Second World War.
Caught in Between ~ a documentary about Japanese- and Muslim-Americans standing together for human rights, and the connection with the incarceration of Japanese-Americans during World War II and the current “War on Terrorism.”
