1. Sargy agreed to chair and Regina agreed to take minutes

2. Tracy had agreed to organize the Human Rights Day dinner this year, but has experienced some unexpected barriers and apologized to the committee, but felt she was unable to organize it now. The committee agreed to have a scaled down version of the Human Rights Day dinner at the Regional Office on December 10th. Tracy is the lead organizer. Wanda agreed to contact 2 and maybe 3 speakers and let Regina know as soon as they are confirmed. Rhonda, Tracy, Wanda, Sharon, Kim and Carol all agreed to help cook the food. The budget is $400.00. Regina will do up the notice once the speakers are confirmed. Remaining details to be worked out by email.

3. We only have one submission, from Carol, which is an idea. Regina will follow up to see if our graphic arts department can run with Carol’s idea.

4. On November 14th, at the Heritage Hall , 3102 Main Street from 7 – 9 pm there is a fundraiser sponsored by The Native Women’s Association of Canada and Rape Relief to Celebrate Sharon McIvor. Posters were handed out.

Chinese New Year is on February 7th, 2008. There will be a dinner. More information to follow when we receive it.

5. We need to determine our delegate for the Regional Convention at the January 10th meeting. CLC Winter school brochures are out. Deadline for application is December 14th.

BC Fed Convention is November 26, 27, 28.
