Call out: Regional Health & Safety Conference Organizing Committee

The 2009 BC Regional Health & Safety Conference has been tentatively scheduled for February 28-March 1, 2009 at the Hilton Metrotown in Burnaby.
We are currently seeking members who are willing to play a leading role in the organization of the 2009 H&S Conference. The organizing team will work closely with James Little and myself and will be expected to provide their services up to and during the conference.
If you wish to join us on the organizing committee please review the following for instructions on our criteria and application process.
Criteria for 2009 BC Regional H&S Conference, Organizing Committee Members
- BRUSH Committee member (preferred)
- Health and Safety Activist (preferred)
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Willing to commit to the project both pre and post conference date.
- Former organizing experience and asset.
Please note: Committee meetings will be held by teleconference and/or in person. Every attempt will be made to hold the meeting during evenings and weekends.
We ask that you confirm your availability and demonstrate how you meet the criteria in the form of a written submission. Please also outline any issue you would like to see covered at the conference and how you would incorporate it into the conference.
Your submission should be no more than 300 words and be submitted to the Conference Committee c/o James Little at littlej@psac.com no later than noon, September 18, 2008.
