Welcome to the home of Local 20147 on the Web. Our local represents almost 700 employees of Fisheries and Oceans Canada at more than 40 work sites spread throughout the the Pacific Region. Our union is one of many components that comprise the Public Service Alliance of Canada.
In the workplace your union executive and stewards work to foster a better environment through effective representation and increased communication. Your union reps assist with member representation in complaints, grievances, disciplinary hearings and appeals as well as providing an employee voice on regional committees such as the Regional and Local Union Management Consultative Committees.
