UEW 20147 offers a scholarship opportunity for the children of Local members on an annual basis. If your child is attending a post-secondary education program of any kind, they may be eligible for a scholarship of $500 – of which two per year are awarded. Below you will find an application form with an essay requirement to complete, and we encourage the attachment of any other supporting documentation such as transcripts and/or a resume. If there is not enough space on the application please feel free to add more pages.
All the applications will be reviewed by our scholarship committee who will make the final decision. Please include any documentation with your application (i.e. transcripts, loan applications) which you feel could assist the committee in making their decision. The deadline for receipt of applications is August 30th.
